This has been a busy week! I have already been in Albion for over a month. I can hardly believe it. This week we had three lessons scheduled. Two of them were both on Thursday night. That was the only day that worked out with their schedules. We went on splits to be able to teach both of them. I went out to Almo to teach Tina, while Sister Meredith stayed in Albion. The lesson in Albion fell through, 10 minutes before, so we were disappointed about that. I was super nervous about teaching a lesson. We have only taught lessons to kids since being here and I was nervous to take the lead. We were teaching the Plan of Salvation. As soon as we said the prayer and I started talking, I was completely calm. The Spirit was so strong, but I left feeling like I gained so much more than everyone else. I felt the truthfulness of what I was testifying of and the Spirit reaffirmed to me the truth of God's plan for us.
We got to feed a lot of cows this week. We were feeding with Casey and Tom. Tom is 91 years old and he is a member. Casey has helped him with his cows for the last 4 years. We drove down to the field to get the hay trailer and headed over to the stackyard. They leave the gate open while they load it with hay. While we were filling the feeder, the cows all got out and walked down the road. We had to round up all the cows and corral them back into the fence. That was an eventful morning. I even got to drive one of the tractors! It was fun but my favorite thing is seeing all the little calves running around.
Today we also went to the Shoshone Falls. That was pretty cool. We heard that the falls are even bigger than Niagra Falls. They are running a lot more in the Summer. This is my next full week in this transfer. I am hoping that I will stay in Albion for a little bit. It is good to hear that everyone is doing well. I love you all!
Love,
Sister Beutler
