This week has been amazing! We were on exchanges for one day and I got to lead the area here in Albion. My companion for the day was interesting (interesting meaning that she wears her pajamas as service clothes among other things). We went to the taxidermy in town and did some service there. We got to help out by washing a mountain lion. We hosed it down and shampooed and conditioned its hair. Then we had to blow dry it. I don't think I will ever be that close to a mountain lion again! That whole place smelled awful though. It smells like dead animals, but after awhile you get used to it.
We also had zone conference this week and it was good, but very long. I love President Bartlett and am going to miss him when he goes home. He only has one more transfer left and then everything will be changing.
This Saturday we are having a community Luau. We started this as a way to get the community together and get everyone out of their houses after a long winter. It is going to be a busy week getting ready. We are going to cook a pig in the ground and have gotten a lot of nonmembers who have volunteered to help. Sister Meredith has even got me to learn a Hula dance with her! I can't believe I am going through with it.
This last week we visited an old inactive lady that lives in Elba. We had a good visit and later in the week she called us and told us that she will be out of town all this next week, but she wants us to come over again when she gets back. She said that she has a lot of people that she wants us to go see and that she thinks could hear the gospel. What a blessing!
I hope you all have a wonderful week at home and I love you all!
