Boise East 4 (Week 16)

Hello Everyone!!

This week started off kinda rough and ended pretty good. We were out tracting in our new ward, which is on the rougher side of Boise. The closer you get to Downtown things get a little harder. We got a lot of rejection and a few door slams that were not very nice.
We saw so many miracles and tender mercies this week!
Then we tried to contact a referral we had received a while back that we have not been able to meet after trying everything! Well this one night I had the impression that we should try knocking on their door again. It was 8:40pm, almost the end of the day and we drove over to their house. Guess what? They answered! We talked to the dad and he said, "I am so glad you found us!" Then he said he wanted to have us over for dinner with his family sometime! That was incredible!
Our week got crazier towards the end. We found out one woman we are working with had to move rather suddenly so we were trying to help coordinate all that. We had no time in our day between district council, interviews with the President, and a lesson nothing was working out. Well.... our lesson ended up having to reschedule with us and President was running late so we had just enough time to run over and help her pack up a few things before the big move the next day.
This lady just wanted to donate a lot of her furniture because she could not take it with her. We were kinda in a bind though because we didn't have anywhere nearby to take it. There used to be a DI Pod at our church building but they moved it. We prayed that night for everything to work out and we drove by the church the next day. The DI Pod was back!! I have no idea when or how it got there, but it did! We had to take a picture of it because we were just so astounded!
The week ended amazing as we had a Mission Conference and got to hear from Elder Neil L. Andersen, Matthew L. Carpenter, and Carl B. Cook. They talked a lot about recognizing the miracles around us. Elder Andersen asked, "Do you have miracles happen every day?" I could honestly say yes. They also talked to us about how to improve and being a little bit better every day. It was so incredible to be in the presence of an Apostle of the Lord. The spirit was so strong in that room and as I listened to him speak I felt the truth behind every word and his simple yet incredible testimony with conviction in every word.
I was very grateful that I had the opportunity to speak the very next day in Sacrament meeting and share my testimony with one of our wards.
I am so very grateful that I am out here serving the Lord. I love this gospel. It is true, it is true, IT IS TRUE!!!

Love,
Sister Beutler
