This week was not too eventful. We were tracting one morning and met this guy who we talked to for 3 hours on his front door!! My feet were killing. He was not interested at all and rather tried to tell us and convince us that all religion is worthless. Every time we tried to move on he kept right on going. So, 3 hours later we were finally leaving!
We also had Zone conference this week and our whole subject was on technology. I wasn't too excited about it at the beginning but it really opened my eyes to the great tool technology is. So here it is coming from me... don't try to avoid technology. Learn to use it and use it for good! Share what you are learning with others and we will all be able to grow together.
This week we said goodbye to Elisabeth and Anthony. The Elders will continue teaching with them as they are attending their ward. It has been incredible to work with them. Last week Anthony had been struggling to read the Book of Mormon and felt as if he has not had any spiritual experiences. This week he was a completely new person! He has been reading from the scriptures every night and he said he has been able to feel the spirit more in his life. It was a very tender moment when he cried to us about all the things he is recognizing. I am sure going to miss talking to them every week, but we will definitely stay in contact.
We did do some more unplanned mountain biking this week. I was slightly terrified. We were traveling down to a part of our area we have not been in yet. We plugged the address in and took a wrong turn somewhere so we ended up going straight down the mountain. We made it down safe but will definitely be taking another route next time!! We came out unscathed but Sister Ashworth did end with a flat tire but we got it all worked out! So hopefully no more bike adventures this week!
Love you and have a fantastic week!
Love,
Sister Beutler
