Boise East 4 (Week 21)

Hello again!

I don't know what happened, but this week the temperature just dropped! It has been in the 40-50s most days and colder in the mornings.
This week we have been trying to meet as many people as possible and invite them to the Green Jello Festival that is a really huge event our Stake does every year. Pretty much they have lots of activities, food, and of course green jello. The food this year was baked potatoes (of course). So we had baked potatoes and green jello for dinner Saturday night :) I have never seen so many kinds of jello in my life! We had quite a few people come and it was really good.
We had a great lesson with Amber this week and Sister Ashworth invited her to be baptized! Amber said she wants to but first wants to make sure she starts following through with more things like reading her scriptures and coming to church. That was a very hopeful lesson because last time we talked about baptism, her response was maybe in a year.
Other than that, we have killed spiders, ate more potatoes, and got to go to travel to Caldwell.
We had 3 week training so we got together with all the new missionaries and trainers. Let me tell you, I am so blessed with my companion. She is a little crazy sometimes, but I love her!
We also had the wonderful opportunity to go to the temple with a recent convert who was going through for the first time. We have been working with her and she is incredible. She is already being such a great missionary to everyone around her and it is easy to see how much this work is progressing. It just keeps growing and growing.
Happy General Conference to everyone!!! I have been counting down the days and am excited to hear some inspiration and wisdom from our leaders! I invite everyone to watch it wherever you are. It will bless your life incredibly!!

Love,
Sister Beutler
