Parma (Week 11)

Hello! This has been such a fantastic week!! We have stayed so busy and went from one thing to the next!
We had Zone Conference on Tuesday and we were able to do it in person. I gave my departing testimony and I was the only departing missionary in 2 zones! There are only 5 missionaries going home and we will be having 36 come out! I had the biggest tender mercy because I got to see Sister Anglin!! She came with her companion to do a Social Media training. I had no idea she was going to be there so you can bet I was pretty surprised. It took everything in me to not hug her.
Mary has been doing so well! She is going to need surgery on her arm and has that scheduled for this week. She told us that since we have been reading from the Book of Mormon with her, she has been able to withstand the temptation to drink. She has also been praying every day and coming to church. She is AMAZING!!!
We did some service for Mary this week as well. We helped her scrub walls and floors in her house. We also got to talk to her mom for a little bit too and she is slowly starting to warm up to us.
We just started a new finding idea. We posted on Facebook Marketplace free boxes of produce. We have members here in our area that are donating to us all kinds of produce. So we get to go out to the fields, pick, wash, and box the vegetables and deliver them to those who have requested it. We make our first delivery this Saturday! I really hope that this helps us have more positive interaction with people and helps us find people to teach.
We had our first lesson with Noe and it went pretty good. He wasn't kidding when he told us that he had lots of questions. He asked us just about any question possible as we discussed and taught the Restoration. I love teaching the Restoration! It has to be one of my favorite lessons to teach people. He is really interested in learning more and we have a lesson set up with him for this week as well!!
So many other things happened this week that I couldn't fit all in here. We had so many tender mercies and I am so grateful for the miracles that are happening!

Love,
Sister Beutler
