Boise East 4 (Week 5)

Hello everyone!

This week has probably been the hardest week I have had on my mission. We went on two exchanges this week. For both of our exchanges I got to stay in Boise and lead our area. Wednesday, I was out with another Sister (Sister Fekitoa). We were in a lesson with a lady we are teaching so we missed President Bartlett's call. We got out and saw that we had 3 missed calls from him and a missed call from Sister Bartlett. We called them right away and he was looking for Sister McPhee. He told us that he would call back after he talked to her and let us know what was going on. We were so confused with what was going on but we waited for his call that never came. We met that night to exchange back and found out that we will now be a trio. So, my companionship now consists of Sister McPhee, Sister Weeks, and me. Sister Weeks is actually from Mesa, Arizona and just came from the MTC. She was originally called to serve in Germany speaking German. She got very sick in the MTC and was sent home. She resubmitted her papers and was cleared to go anywhere. She was reassigned to the Idaho Boise Mission and is now here with us! It has been kinda difficult for her. A lot of people ask her about it and I think it is hard on her. Already I can see that she was meant to be here. She has so many connections to people in Boise and is a great missionary. We had our last Zone Conference with President and Sister Bartlett as well. It was tearful and inspiring. I can't believe how fast I have grown to love them. Sister Bartlett stressed to us the importance of loving everyone and being united. She said, "It is not us vs. them, it is just US." President Bartlett made a funny joke and told us, "don't look back...you'll turn salty" referring to Lot's wife and all the changes that will soon be taking place in our mission. I absolutely love them and know they are going to be amazing as President and Matron of the Winter Quarters Nebraska temple. I had an amazing experience during our exchange on Saturday. The sister that came to our area was telling us about all of these super amazing and spiritual experiences she has had on her mission. This sister actually came out with me, so we have been here the same amount of time. I was wondering to myself, "Why don't I have experiences as amazing as that?" I was reflecting on that and feeling a little down on myself, like I wasn't doing enough. Suddenly, I had the distinct impression come into my mind, "That is what she needs." I immediately stopped and thought about how silly my thoughts were. I have seen so many miracles on my mission. They may not be as outright or grand as the other Sister's was but they are still my miracles. Heavenly Father knows exactly what WE as individuals need in our lives. That is why every person's experiences are so different. We can't all go through the same things. I can testify that HE knows what we need even when we don't. Trust in God and know that he will help us along the way.I don't think I could write down or express all of my feelings or all the experiences that I have had this week.I have felt the spirit, talked to many many people, been humbled, and been running left and right to make it to appointments. I hope you all know that Heavenly Father loves you so much! He knows that this life is hard. He has provided the way for us to find peace and the way to endure through our trials. Rely on the Savior and He will support us. He knows what we need and we need to exercise our faith by trusting in Him and enduring to the end! I love you all!!Sister Beutler
