Boise East 4 (Week 10)

Hello everyone!

Here's to another busy week! I spent a day in Mountain Home on exchanges and that was an adventure. I got to drive again though and that felt so good.
This week we invited Alx and Toni to a church tour. They have not felt comfortable just coming to church so we showed them around and then sang a song for them. We invited them to church and they said, YES!
We also got a car! Well... for 2 weeks that is. The mission has a car that is not being used until transfers so we get to babysit it! I am excited for that because it is getting way to hot to be biking. We cleaned out the car and it was gross. This car must have been in Ontario, Oregon because there were lots of fast food receipts and trash all over. It is now clean and we feel much better driving it around.
Saturday night we had a little bit of time before we had to be home so we decided to contact a few people that the Elders had met in our new ward. We knocked on the door of a guy who they had not been able to contact in over a year and he was home! We had a good conversation with him on his doorstep and he asked us about church. He asked if he could come and we of course said yes. We sent him the address and he came. His name is Femi and is originally from Africa, moved to New Jersey, and is now in Boise for work.
Sunday was really crazy. Alx and Toni came to church! Sister Weeks and I sang a musical number in Sacrament meeting. It was super great and the spirit was very strong that day! Then we hurried over to our other building and met Femi there. He stayed for the 2 hours and the ward members love him!
We went home to eat lunch and we had just sat down when a member from our ward texted us and said that one of their family friends wants to take the lessons and asked if we could come over right then. We jumped up and headed over for an unplanned amazing lesson.
We had another lesson that night with Jospeh which went pretty well. We were exhausted by the time we got home!!
Miracles are happening! I am excited to see what happens this week! This is the Lords work and I am so grateful to be put here serving and sharing the gospel with the people in Boise! I love you all!

Love,
Sister Beutler
