And...... I am staying here in East Boise again with Sister Ashworth! Believe it or not, I am really excited. I feel like this transfer good things are going to happen.
We have spent the whole week walking everywhere we go due to Sister Ashworth's shoulder injury. It has been cold, but I know there is much more to come! She had an MRI scheduled for this week that we will be going to, and more doctors appointments in the future.
This week has been a little sad but very good! We had our last lesson with Femi as he is moving and it was sad to say goodbye. But, he did say that he would love to continue to meet with the Missionaries in his new area. So, he is still continuing on just in a new place. Our meeting was awesome! We went into it thinking that he would not have read much from the Book of Mormon because he has been busy packing and has struggled to read in the past. We asked about his reading and he just took off and summarized the first 10 chapters in detail for us!! I sat there almost in shock, but this just shows that miracles are happening!
We also had a wonderful lesson with Amber this week! Last time we asked her to say the prayer and she did it! This time her mother (who has been inactive for a very long time and does not like praying) accepted to say the prayer. It was really good for Amber to see her mother praying out loud. Parents really do have a huge impact in the lives of their children. Leading by example is the best way. Amber and her mother also shared wonderful experiences of how prayer had been blessing them.
Let me tell you, when you think life is not going how you planned, stop and take a look again. Maybe God has another plan. He is watching over us and sometimes we have to go through the storm before we can recognize the sun. So many times I wonder how everything could seem to fall apart so fast. But then, things work out in ways I never imagined and I am always so grateful that Heavenly Father is watching over!
Have a wonderful week and remember to trust in God this week!
Love,
Sister Beutler
