Boise East 4 (Week 25)

Hello!!

This has been quite an interesting week. Linda left for a few weeks to visit her daughter who is about to have a baby any day. So we wanted to do one last thing with her and invited her to one of the Relief Society activities to get her involved in the ward. Last minute she decided not to come because she had a lot of packing. We went anyway to the activity because we were learning a lot about family history and we are trying to use that more. Well... while we were there we had so many people come talk to us and it turned out to be so good that we went! One 96 year old lady approached us and gave us a referral. If she can do it, anyone can!
We spent a lot of time contacting past people being taught. We went to one address and it was completely abandoned with I think just about every window was broken and there was even a creepy cat walking around. We did meet one guy named Bud who was on date to be baptized in the past. We had a good conversation on his doorstep and we set up a time to come back. He has kept canceling and rescheduling with us though so I don't know when that will actually happen.
Awhile back we helped Debbie move and then she ended up moving back to the same trailer park. We got there and the whole feeling was not good. I have never felt so dark and gloomy in my life. But, we decided to knock anyways to try and find out where she lived and we knocked on one door and talked to a lady who has had a rough life. After talking to her there we both felt so awful and left right after that. The whole feeling in that trailer park was just awful and I can testify that the Spirit will warn you and will be your guide if you listen to it.
Also, an update on Sister Ashworth.... she retore her labrum in her shoulder and will be needing surgery. So she may be going home and the Doctor is looking into her having it done out here. From what it sounds like, she will be going home. By next Monday, we will have a plan made. I don't know what will be happening, but I am praying it will all work out! Love you all and I hope you have a blessed week!!

Love,
Sister Beutler
