Meridian LN 2 (Week 1)

I made it to Meridian!

The beginning of my week was full of packing and goodbyes. We left on Tuesday and that morning we woke up to snow!! So I have now seen every season in the Boise East area!

We moved on Wednesday and are now in Meridian. Our area is way different than Boise. We are covering 4 wards all within a square mile. Everything is super compact and it is a nice change from our huge area in Boise. Our wards are great! I have never met more missionary minded and united people. We are living in an apartment with 2 other Sisters. It is a little squishy but it is working out good!

We are teaching a family of 5 boys that we are super excited about. They were on date for baptism in November but then when both Sisters were transferred out of the area they died off. So we are working on bringing them back. They were all at church on Sunday so we were very happy to see them!

Our Mission President decided to allow all of the Missionaries to see a movie on Thanksgiving so we all got to see Frozen 2! I never thought I would do that on my mission! It was so good! Our only requirement was that we report back on how the movie related to the gospel. It was cool to watch it through gospel eyes. I found so many parallels!

It has been snowing pretty consistently here for the past 2 days. That has been pretty fun and we are very glad to have a car!

Sister Anglin and I will be covering 5 other Sister companionships this transfer. So, we will be pretty busy between work in our area and exchanges. I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and Happy December!

Love,
Sister Beutler
