Dear ,
Congratulations on your assignment to serve as a Sister Training Leader in the Idaho Boise Mission. Your faithfulness and contributions as a missionary have been exemplary and this assignment is a further expression of the Lord's trust and confidence in you to bless, lead, and strengthen those to whom you have been called to serve. Please know of my great admiration for you, and that this assignment has come with much thought and prayer.
As a Sister Training Leader you must show absolute loyalty to the Lord and to your Mission Leaders. You must continue to keep all mission rules and encourage the same from all of those within your stewardship. You must work hand in hand with local leaders to develop trust and confidence.
In your role as Sister Training Leader you also have the responsibility to lead your fellow missionaries towards excellence in all areas of missionary work. You set the cadence, the tempo, for those you lead. You must love and reach out to every missionary within your stewardship. Set expectations and accountability, and produce results that support the goals and vision of the entire mission, remembering that numerical goals are only important because they represent real friends and family who are progressing along the covenant path to come unto Christ.
Use companion exchanges, with every sister assigned to you every six weeks, to lift and to build your sisters to new levels of commitment and growth as they experience the miracles that are possible.
Be sure to teach and plan using "Preach My Gospel" as your main resource. Use scriptures and activities found in "Preach My Gospel" to increase skills and deepen testimonies. Role play often to increase skills and comfort with every aspect of missionary work.
I know the Lord will bless you in this role. Be the very best companion you can. Remember President Thomas S. Monson's counsel, "Don't compete, don't compare and don't complain". Go to work, seek revelation, and the Lord will do the rest. I have great faith and trust in you.
"God does not begin by asking our ability, only our availability, and if we prove our dependability, He will increase our capability." -- Elder Neal A. Maxwell
