This is going to be a short email this week but so much has happened!!
We found 2 new people to teach and they are incredible!
We met Bud a few weeks ago and finally got a lesson arranged. He was taught a lot by missionaries in the past but really struggled to keep commitments. Well it has been 5 years since then and he wants to meet again. We sat down and he asked us when he could be baptized! So we talked about the process and don't have a date yet due to some things but he is working towards it.
We also went on exchanges with our STLs and they wanted to do a finding blitz in our area. So, for an hour we both went out and tried different finding approaches. Sister Brooks and I were tracting and the very first door we knocked on we met Kristina. We asked her what her biggest question is and she told us, "probably what the afterlife holds." So we talked to her for a minute and got a return appointment to come teach her more!!
At the same time Sister Anglin and Sister Godfrey decided to try working with members. They ended up going to an inactive member's house and the mom asked if we could come teach her family the lessons because she really wants this gospel to be an important part of their lives. Her children might also invite their friends to sit in as well.
So miracles were happening everywhere! It definitely wasn't easy though. We spent a lot of time praying and put in every effort. It just shows that Heavenly Father really is watching over and uses all of our efforts for good.
It is another good week ahead and we will keep putting our trust in the Lord as we labor in his vineyard. Love you all!!
