Boise Central 1 (Week 3)

Hello everyone!! This week was so good. Life as a missionary is just the BEST!

Okay so this week,
ALLURA WAS BAPTIZED!!!! Wow this was just so special and I just love her love her so much! She has such a strong testimony and I love her to death. We had a lesson with her the night before and she just bore her testimony to us and the spirit was undeniably strong. She thought that no one would come to her baptism but the entire room was filled with people there to support her! It was incredible and the spirit was so strong in that building!!

This week we found out some sad news!!! So remember Sonia and Kathryn Ekemon?? Sonia was the recent convert from Africa that was baptized back in September and we were teaching her daughter in Meridian. Well Kathryn and Flourina go to a christian school and the principal just made it so that members of our church can't go to that school anymore. Sonia was super sad because this was a good school and was nearby, but Kathryn said she would rather switch schools and leave her friends than not get baptized.
Talk about FAITH. This family just gets better and better. They are huge examples to me. Sometimes, we have to make sacrifices, but the Lord ALWAYS has a something better for us.

This week we had a lesson with Kennadi and it went pretty good. As of now she is set to be baptized this coming Saturday. Things are a little crazy though and it is still subject to change. Both her and her mom really want it to happen then but it is dependent on her keeping a few commitments.

Here is a funny story from this week: On sunday Sister Anglin and I wrote talking to a member of our bishopbric who has the coolest Scottish accent. We were talking for a bit and then he said something to which Sister Anglin replies, "gotcha." But says it in his accent. I looked at her and we both just busts up laughing. The poor guy did not know what to say. We played it off pretty good though and we ended up laughing all together!

Please keep Sister Anglin and I in your prayers! We have a crazy week ahead of us and hopefully it will all work out good! I love you all!

Love,
Sister Beutler
