Boise Central 1 (week 6)

Hey everyone! This week was soooooo good.

Transfer news:
Sister Anglin and I are both staying here in Boise together!!! We are so excited and can't believe we are now going on 4 transfers together! So many things got switched up in our mission because we have 16 new Sisters coming out! A lot changed so we are happy that we get to stay together again!

This week we had a lesson with Joe and Ken. I don't remember how much I have said about them but these are 2 awesome guys!  Both of them are returning members and want to meet with us. We were teaching the plan of salvation. At one point Ken said, "Look at that, Joe! You can do cartwheels in heaven!" We all busted up laughing. Because Joe is this 6'4" 250 lb man with tattoos all over and a big beard. So picturing him doing a cartwheel gave us quite the laugh. It was so awesome to see them talking about the gospel! Ken found his Bible and Book of Mormon from his mission and brought them. Joe also volunteered to say the prayer which he has never done before!

This week we asked our district leader how they find so many people to teach. He said one idea is to get to our dinner appointment a few minutes early and tract around their house. So we did that and guess what! We found 2 new people! They let us right in and they are excited to meet more with us! Yay!

Okay so this past Monday, we were at the church with our zone playing games and what not, and one of the AP's says to Sister Sister Anglin and I, "Are you ready to give your training tomorrow?" We were like, "we don't know what you're talking about.." turns out they forgot to tell us we were giving a training at Zone Conference the very next day. And our night was jam packed after 6:00 so we weren't sure when we were going to figure it out, but we got it done!

At zone conference they announced these new things called the golden wheel and the golden plunger. It's basically whoever has a the cleanest house or the best driving record and cleanest car. If you win, you get to take a picture with the golden wheel or plunger. Sister Anglin and I are determined to win it. Friday morning the Jensens came to inspect our home. We cleaned everything so good that I am pretty sure our house shone. But wait this is the best part. Sister Anglin somehow convinced me to play my violin and serenade them while they inspected our house. I still don't know how she convinced me to do that since that is just about the last thing I would want to do! It gave us all some good laughs and apparently the office missionaries heard about it and asked us about it as soon as they saw us. If we don't win the golden plunger, its rigged!

I got to go to Mountain Home this week on exchanges! I spent a day with Sister Karsten and I absolutely love her! She has two transfers left and is training a missionary from Tonga. They are such a great companionship. It was so fun to spend a day out of the city! I also love getting to go on exchanges with so many Sisters. I feel like I learn so much from all of them.

I absolutely love my mission and I love everyone that I serve around! Heavenly Father has given me so many opportunities to serve. He definitely knows where I need to be. I am so excited for what this next transfer holds!

Love,
Sister Beutler
