I am honored to start my 4th transfer with Sister Anglin!! We work so well together and have lots of fun together. So many members are like, "We can just tell that you two are best friends. And it helps the work." And holy moly it does!!
For 2 days this week our companionship went to 4 people!! Sister Vaughn's companion finished her mission and went home, so she came with us! Then Sister Ashworth came back out after getting surgery, and so she came with us too until transfer day! So we split up to get more work done and it was just like old times with Sister Ashworth. I love her so much and am so happy that she is back! We got SO MUCH work done too that day as well and it was all over a fantastic time!
This week we met with Allura and she is so amazing. She said how when she got confirmed, she didn't expect to feel a huge change because she didn't want to be disappointed. It was so cool to hear as she told us her feelings. She got up in front of the congregation and was literally terrified because who wouldn't be to stand in front of so many people. She sat down and closed her eyes and as the Bishop began to confirm her all of her fears vanished and she said she felt a rush of peace and that it felt so good. She has also had so many experiences where she has felt the spirit so much in greater abundance. It was so wonderful to hear that and made me so happy!
Funny story:
Okay so we were at lunch with a family on Saturday and the dad was telling us about these doves that usually come in his backyard and how she shoots them and eats them. But he said they haven't been coming around lately. Then like 10 minutes later Sister Anglin saw a bird fly overhead. She said, "Hey was that a dove?" He runs to the window and says, "YES! There are 2!! You don't mind if I shoot it do you?" We are thinking what?! He grabs his huge gun and tells us to be very quiet. This was the funniest thing to watch. But the birds flew away too fast so he didn't have luck.
Birds: 1
Larry: 0
This week was actually kinda tough, but I have been given so many opportunities to strengthen my testimony and honestly the hard things have made me so much stronger. I have been able to testify to people who are struggling and Heavenly Father has helped me so much. I can testify that He hears your prayers and cares so much about every single one of you!
I love all of you and have a fantastic week! It's crazy that it is already the last week of February!!
Love,
Sister Beutler
